Delane Rouse and Contrast Photography had the opportunity to work with the great kids, coaches and parents from the Jr Chargers Wrestling Team (Indian Head, MD) last night. Bridgette did a great job organizing her parents and allowed us to focus on creating outstanding pictures

Wrestling is one of my favorite sports to shoot, primarily because the backgrounds are typically so pleasing. It's amazing how the "simple" things make a big difference in the final image.

Westlake Youth Wrestling

We had the pleasure of working with the athletes, coaches and families of the Westlake Youth Wrestling program in Waldorf, MD today. If I shot more wrestling portraits in HOT rooms like these I could actually drop a few pounds!!!! Wrestling kids are real troopers, I have to give them credit for that!!! Today we shot with our Elinchrom “Beauty Dish” -camera left/high and a 10×36 Strip Box camera left and behind the subject. This light kicks out a slight rim/hair light…
