    Welcome to Delane Rouse Photography. Based out of Washington DC, we service clients around the world. Most importantly, our goal is to exceed our clients expectations one image at a time, consistently produce outstanding images and create satisfied clients for life.

    When I'm not creating images you'll find me playing my guitar, cycling the roads of Southern Maryland on my Fuji road bike or playing competitive racquetball. I'm not exceptional at any of these actives but they all relax me and in some way or another allow me to unwind and ultimately keep me eager to get back behind my camera.

    When considering Delane Rouse Photography, we're honest and open in telling you that we're not built like your local Wal-Mart, Target or JC Penny's, and we don't hire college kids like those at Lifetouch that photograph your kids at school. We're about quality images, for business or for family.

    We're passionate about what we do and we think it shows before, during and after our assignment. We won't be outworked and that benefits you greatly when we're creating our imagery. We'll rarely be the cheapest or lowest quote, but we will continue to provide the HIGHEST QUALITY and FANTASTIC SERVICE, before and after the job.

At DC Corporate Headshots, we’ve been working with a lot of Washington DC based consultants lately. In March and April we photographed lots of people in commercial real estate but May/June has seen the consultant community out in force.

Dwight Howard | Photos by Delane Rouse

Regardless of the outcome of tonights Game 6 between the Celtics and Magic there is no denying that Dwight Howard is a physical specimen (6 ft 11 in, 265 lb.) As a professional photographer in the Philadelphia area, I covered Dwight as a high school senior during a basketball tournament in Trenton, NJ. Those photos are still being published; the most recent was in the “NBA Stars in High School” photo gallery SI.com’s website

Howard has amassed several NBA and franchise records and awards during his NBA career. He has led the league in rebounds per game three times, blocks per game twice, and double-doubles twice. He is also the youngest player in NBA history to reach 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 4,000 and 5,000 career rebounds, and the youngest player in NBA history to lead the league in rebounding and blocks.

Cakes by Richmond

It’s been a while since we’ve created images of food, but when Richmond Hill called and told us about his cake baking business we were all over it!!!  Cakes by Richmond serves the Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC area extensively and I can personally vouch for every one of these samples. They were DELICIOUS!!!

Needless to say this is a client that I’m looking forward to eating with…I mean WORKING with again and again and AGAIN!!!
