Art?

I made it to the studio on Friday to test some light modifiers -my new Elinchrom Beauty Dish and some grids for my 10×36 Strip Boxes. I love the control the grids give me, now the light goes exactly where I tell it to go and nowhere else. Why I’ve been shooting without them for these years I’ll never know.

I’m still testing the beauty dish, but “crisp” is a word that I’ve seen used to describe the light. There’s definitely more snap than when I use the big HUGE Elinchrom Octa-bank. I love my Octa, but sometimes it’s a tad much (read too large) for practical usage when I’m on location.
